The motivating philosophy of the Basketball 2 the Limit program is a commitment to provide fundamental skill development, instruction and teach the elements of the game of basketball. The program is dedicated to young student-athletes in our community who have a desire to compete at a high level of competition. Our team and coaches are committed to providing an opportunity for girls to expand their skill, knowledge, and love of the game of in an environment composed of positive reinforcement that teaches respect, discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship, commitment and hard work. Our team believes in strong academics to achieve the true meaning of a successful student-athlete. Our goal is to always strive for excellence both on and off the court.
In 2008 We started our team with ten girls that quickly built up to thirty. We have attended numerous tournaments across the country providing players the exposure needed to for fill their dream of playing college basketball. Our players have come from all areas, such as, western mass, metro area and New Hampshire. In the past, our team has won the USBA state championship, YOBA state tournament and many others. The team attends one of the most prestigious camps in the summer, Five Star. In the summer of 07, we had four players in the top twenty of the Five Star camp. Our team played in the Orange and White Classic which is selected from 150 players. In the 08 summer, we returned to the Five Star camp where we had nine of the twenty players play in the all-star game. Our players also won awards, such as, 1 on 1 champ, 3 on 3 champ, free throw champ, play maker of the week, defensive player of the week, camp MVP, all-star MVP. In 2008 four of the top twenty five scores in the state are players from our team. Many of our other players have been named as the top three scores in their league.
In 2009 We attended many national tournaments our team finished their season with a 37-7 record playing in tournaments such as blue chip, usjn, big apple and finishing 5th out of hundreds of teams in the Blue Chip Penn State Tournament. Also in the summer of 2009 the girls attended Five Star Camp again where they once again dominated the camp. The girls once again had 6 players make the Orange and White Classic, had the all star MVP, Camp MVP, 3 on 3 Champ, 1 on 1 Champ, free throw champ, brightest future player award. Also in the fall of 2009 several of the girls have been selected to participate in the Addidas Phenom Camp.
